About Us

Discover how 19th-century Minnesotans established their lives on the frontier, farmstead, and in villages. Historical buildings are laid out as a timeline from the pre-territorial era through the late 1800s. The park grounds and trails are open daily for self-guided exploration. Access to the park is free, though it does not include access inside the historic buildings. When visiting The Landing, please use the Main (west) Entrance. From here, visitors should plan to walk 1–2 miles during their visit.
