The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States (VFW) was chartered by Congress (Title 36 USC Chapter 2301) on May 28, 1936. The VFW is a non-profit organization, which means it receives no United States funding through taxes and only is supported by charitable donations.
The Shakopee VFW accepts donations of used medical equipment, ie wheelchairs, walkers, canes, bed rails etc. If you are in need of some kind of equipment, check with them before you buy. They are happy to give back to someone in need.
