Help plant boulevard rain gardens in the North End neighborhood of Saint Paul! Great River Greening staff and volunteers will assist residents in planting rain gardens to improve water quality in our lakes and the Mississippi River, through a program run by the City of Saint Paul Public Works and Capitol Region Watershed District. Volunteers: 40 Partners and Funders: Capitol Region Watershed District, City of Saint Paul Public Works, and the Mortenson Family Foundation. About Great River Greening: Since 1995, Great River Greening has worked to secure the legacy of Minnesota land and water through community-based restoration, stewardship and partnerships. We have ecological expertise in natural resource and water quality management, and in community building. We work in collaboration at a grassroots level so partners, landowners and volunteers feel connected to an area, understand the power of working together, and are protective of the legacy that we pass on to future generations.
